The types of people that would come to fedi are mostly happy at the thought that Elon Musk might get some say over how Twitter works. So no reason for them to leave now.
The people who are livid at the idea of Elon controlling their precious platform would recoil at the lack of echo chamber that is fedi. They would want to leave Twitter, but they wouldn't want to come here.

I don't really consider YouTubers public personalities, rather internet personalities. Haven't heard of this guy before, but I can't ignore 3M subs. He's a brave man.

As a side note, I find it interesting that he describes himself as Japanese-Australian, but wikipedia insists on calling him Australian-Japanese.
It’s gonna be 3 or 4, but I’ll bet most of them will have our instances blocked.
