I was typing without looking at keyboard, and instead of "no men sky", I wrote "bi men sky"

I am not sure what to make of that insane typo

BTW, I seriously don't understand No men sky.

They call it a survivor game, but what problem are you actually trying to solve there? You unironically get punished for discovering new planets by making the teleporter menu much more cluttered. It takes 4 hours to get to the point, where you will never again feel the need for basic resources, and as soon as you discover a dinosaur bones planet, you have a game breaking source of money.

But more importantly, I do see all the craftable technologies, and think: What am I aiming towards? To fill my fuel tank in 2 minutes instead of 6? Or to remove that need entierly? Not only do I feel safe, but building the base does not bring me any actual benefit. There is no goal, and exploration for new base locations seems pointless, since building bases is such an insane chore. Oh, what about settlements? Nothing but a temporaly resource dump, that can eventually generate........cash? That thing I can get from collecting dino bonies?

Yes. I do get, that maxing out a ship can take a long time of grinding, but how would a maxed ou ship make my life in the game more enjoyable? WHAT IS THE GOAL???

I would love to join the "the game is fixed" crowd, but it has to be the most masturbatory game in existence. Even with cookie clicker, I can look forward to a higher number, but in No men Sky, I see no dopamine boost comming from having 20% more efficient oxigen tanks, when filling them takes 2 clicks.

@LukeAlmighty I haven't played it, but I'm guessing it's a survivor game in the same sense that Minecraft is.
