I just don’t get the appeal of arch unless you wanna use hyperland I guess. “Well you can customize it!!” You can customize any Linux distro. The AUR is a crapshoot and fucking sucks. Fedora updates fast enough for me, so I dont see the appeal of rolling.
The last time I tried installing arch the iso was broken so the install script didn’t work and I had to go seek out reddit discussions because there were bugs not documented in the install guide. The actual package maintenance is also pretty bad like opensuse. Just lots of random crap pushed which desyncs and causes errors if you update too much or too little.
I guess if ur super anti system-d and anti RHEL then yeah Fedora sucks because its the System-D poster child but Fedora KDE just makes sense to me.
TLDR; Arch fags are annoying in how they act like Arch is like the final boss of Freedom in computing. Fucking use Gentoo or Linux from Scratch. Outside of the busted install process Arch is no different then any other mainstream distro.

Use whatever works for you and your needs. I've been saying something half-jokingly for awhile: there's someone out there for whom literally MS-DOS is the best OS because of their unique needs.
@alyx @KaiserKitty the video editor I use sucks but it has one specific feature I like that none of the others do and that feature helps my workflow immensely.
