I saw that too and found it weird. I'd still buy it though, but last I checked these eink smartphones are nowhere to be seen in my country.

@VD15
I have no idea who this guy is, and yet somehow I have a feeling I should know.

@sylveon@baraag.net
Not sure why, but for me the weirdest part of this is Sylveon having gigantic balls.

Oh yeah, overall be careful who you're admitting of being an atheist to. While there's no real danger of being attacked or something like that, you could find yourself in an uncomfortable situation. Atheists might as well be Satan worshippers in these parts. It's a concept people don't really comprehend.

In case of Christianity as it stands today, it was made by the institution. If you were to ignore the Church and practice the religion solely from the Bible, you'd get a much different can of worms. But the current, modern Christianity is something that has been shaped by the institution for centuries. You can't decide to suddenly ignore all that and separate them when it's convenient.

I'd agree the rules block believer's access to priests and whatever traditions that involve said priests. But otherwise, I disagree that it blocks access to the rest of religious traditions and religious communities. But maybe you have a particular example in mind where this would be the case.

There's a difference between complete lockdown and taking a minimum of preventative measures. Social distancing does not mean full lockdown. It never did.

Romania. If you're the religious kind, you might like it here. Most people are religious, well over 90% Christian, but they are not obnoxious about it either. Since most people are Orthodox Christian, you're not gonna see people trying to convert you to their denomination. Churches are always full, you have regular religious pilgrimages that get media attention. Actually, there's a good amount of positive media attention on priests/The Church in general.
But personally, I'm kinda sick of it, since the whole thing is as corrupt as any other big religious institution, but the corruption doesn't get nearly enough attention, and when it does, it's always with a .

@mcread
I kinda hate this meme cause in my country it's closer to the opposite. The media has cared more about the reopening of churches than any sector of the economy. And the priests had the gall to tell doctors that they're not competent in matters of the soul, so they don't have a word to say in how churches conduct their activity during a pandemic.

@niggaflamebuttholeaids
Question 1) Who is this guy?
Question 2) Who/what is that creature in the background?

Works a bit better for Pleroma with the "Reply to" option. Let's you see to which post a reply is made.
