The regulations thing depends a lot from country to country I feel. Over here, things have been pretty lax all summer and most autumn. Thing is, we kinda would have needed more regulations, or some kind of measures, anything, because our medical system did reach it's limit a while ago. If I were to get it now, I'd have a hard time getting medical attention if it were a bad case of it. And if it was a mild/asymptomatic case, chances are I wouldn't even get a chance to get tested.

Oh no, it's worse than that. It was referred to in some old local newspaper (in the 20s old) as a "niggerhead", on account that it was dark in color (apparently this was a common phrase that geologists used at the time). That's why it's racist. Because someone once used a bad word to describe it.

In my country, it's only about 1 in 40 people diagnosed officially. With asymptomatic and untested, maybe it's double that (worst case scenario). I know of a few people that had it, over 40 years of age. Everyone survived. But it's not an easy disease for everyone.

For some, definitely not worse than a flu or a cold. But for others, it's really fucking bad. Even if you survive it "easily", it can still hit your body hard, and leave you struggling to recover for awhile.

I'm more concerned about this weird and random spread of symptoms and how it can develop in weird ways than anything else. If everyone's reactions were closer to the average, flu-like symptoms, I'd be calm about it. But what worries me is this lottery you basically play once you do get it. No matter how young you are, you still can be that poor bastard that "wins" the odds, and reacts incredibly poorly to it.

Don't really get where you get the 30 million infected number. What makes you think there are that many asymptomatic cases? Also, remember that people can, and there have been recorded cases, of people getting infected multiple times.
