Don't worry, the snap was understandable, and I don't hold any grudge for it.

@TheAncestor
Do what you want I guess... but right now Ubuntu is kinda like the Apple of the Linux world. They're trying to force you into their Snap thing that is incredibly shitty.

@TheAncestor
>Ubuntu
Why are you trying to install the shittiest of the Linux distros?

Here's the thing I don't get... what exactly does USA solve by signing a piece of paper, when as a government you could still set a goal for yourself to do even better than the Paris accord asks you to?
Here's what I would have done: give the Republicans a false bone by not going back to the Paris accord, but also make policies that would ensure you live up to an accord you didn't sign.

Also, the comparison to the Geneva Convention is ridiculously faulty. At least with that, you theoretically get something in return. I say theoretically, because if a proper war were to start up again, I wouldn't guarantee your soldiers would be actually protected from atrocities made by your enemies just because you signed the Geneva Convention.

God I hope not... somehow the idea of a meta meme surrounding this sounds even worse than people not knowing any better than to use this crap.

I have to ask... what's with the recent trend of memes/short videos made in Cyberlink PowerDirector? There's plenty of good free alternatives to choose from these days, why go for the watermark shit? This is like still seeing Bandicam or Fraps video game recordings when even Windows has it's own thing now... why?!

@nerdman
Had a quick look, VboxSVGA is supposed to be used for Windows guests, VMSVGA is the preferred one for Linux guests. Apparently if you don't use them like that, it does't support 3D acceleration.

@nerdman
Haven't set up a new vm in a while. But I think VboxSVGA is the one they considered legacy, and trying to phase it out.

@nerdman
I've been running it for a while, and the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with is figuring out what AUR was all about. I used Ubuntu and Ubuntu flavors before this.

@rein
>would you choose communism or fascism?
That's like asking: "would you like to be fucked in the ass with a dragon dildo or a horse dildo?". It doesn't really matter, does it? You're still getting fucked in a place you really don't want to be fucked, by a thing much to big to fit under normal circumstances.

@nerdman
I'm afraid to ask what you're doing wrong, cause Zoom worked fine for me on Manjaro. Only needed to use it once though, so maybe there's some advanced feature you need that aren't getting. :blobshrug:
