And here I was hoping I'd manage to turn you off... Who do all the fedi men becoming horny around me?!

@emilis @a1batross
Pretty much. At some point, Diablo 2 is also a "follow-this-build-guide-exactly", but at least with the latest patches there are means to respec, and you don't literally get lost in the options. And you have attributes and skills separated. PoE just has one master cluster-fuck. Good luck navigating this:

PoE is fun, but it's skill tree is ridiculously over-complicated.

@a1batross
I'd say Diablo 2 still holds up. It lacks some quality of life gameplay features of modern dungeon crawlers, but it's still fun to play.

A lot of what Epic gives out are indie titles, but every once in a while they give out a decent AAA too. It's just that they're usually older games, that aren't actively being played much.

@emilis @deadheat
Yeah, I have a lot of good games in my Epic library. Including stuff like the Batman trilogy, Just Cause 4, 2 Metro games etc. But it's rare to see games that are this new being given for free like this.

@deadheat
It's not free-to-play, you can still buy it on Steam for example. Epic is just giving it away this week, as part of their every-week-a-free-game thing. But since Rage 2 is not exactly an old game, I find this really surprising.

Is Rage 2 full of microtransactions or something? Why is it currently free on Epic Game Store?
