@alyx Just drink the juice, it's as simple as that.

@Senpai-kun @asa_2 @borzoi @Leitis @mkultra @nozaki @RoyalJohnny242 @shitgrifter @Vsolid
Nah, I'm not. But if it makes people feel better about themselves, they can call me whatever they like.

@ew @mushroom_soup
This makes me wonder if they make condoms for people with micropeen.

@ew @mushroom_soup
The only person with a micropeen I know of is TJ Kirk (The Amazing Atheist), and he's bisexual and takes bananas up his ass. So his gayness disproves you hypothesis.

@mushroom_soup
... how?! Like... is he just rubbing it against the clitoris or something?

I'm laughing my ass off reading the thread of various degrees of socialists and nationalists trying to justify why their ideology is the best to fight the juice threat.

The funniest bit is when they go "you need to be an ideologue slave or else you're useless in the fight against muh juice". You know why it's funny? Because religiously following an ideology, no matter the ideology or how well you think it's conceived, is pointless and stupid. Humanity is a diverse pile of morons (and I don't mean skin color diversity). There is no single ideology that will work for everyone. Ever.

You're better off being a moderate fence sitter that can adapt, cooperate and accept policies from multiple political frameworks depending on current needs and context, than being an unmovable stone locked in your little "perfect" ideological circle.

Have a few key principles you care about, like certain freedoms and the well being of people, then be able to adjust the policies you put in place to best satisfy them continuously as the national and international contexts change.

@straw
Yup. It's pretty new. It'll take a while until we actually see the results.

@straw
You're out of the loop. Apparently Easy Anti-Cheat is getting a Linux version.

@sandycorzeta
Interesting... I've never heard of these. I see they're audio editing tools.

@alyx@gameliberty.club they trick you into paying them a handsome amount of money, they trick you into installing 3rd party software. When you find it and try to cancel subscription, they charge you even more for it

@GNUxeava
Not to mention that after some years they'll close their registration services for the older versions, so you can no longer use them, and have to buy them all over again.

@asa_2 @GNUxeava
Don't know if it's been exploited the most, but it's probably up there. Besides, Adobe Reader is the most bloated pdf reader I know.

I've thought about Chrome too, but it's a weird one, cause technically it's a mix of proprietary and open-source software. But the proprietary pieces within it are definitely pretty bad.

@alyx

It's hard for me to think of something more evil than murder or spying, which is what the tools are used for.

Facebook, Google, et al. fall into that as well, cause I'm pretty sure they take plenty govt funds.

The tools themselves aren't evil IMO, but I don't think think the distinction matters much here.

@deesenaughts
I'd add to that anything that must have constant internet access for "security"/authentication reasons.

@asa_2
MS Office is an acceptable answer. They're monopoly on document formats have definitely hurt everyone a lot.

Whatsapp was probably decent at some point in the past... but then Facebook came along.

I never used Discord, but I've heard plenty of bad and weird things about it to believe you.

@alyx

man it's a hard choice between NSA shit and military shit
