Yeah, my country's government got tricked by this too, to my shame.

I know basically nothing about drugs, explosives and all of that, but I'm still able to tell by looking at the device that it won't do any kind of detecting.
Now what I can't figure out is, how are people who do know a thing or two about drugs, explosives and other contraband, tricked by something this stupid.
