So you think a child can consent to sex? If they can't consent to sex, why would their ability to understand not only sex, but also gender and it's relation to their sexual physiology, be any more developed?

@icedquinn @rimugu
Except, that's kinda false. Cause it's not adults that are taking this. And it's something that trans advocates (that are not necessarily transpeople themselves) that are pushing for this to be an acceptable treatment for children.
Transpeople (i.e. adults) don't give a fuck about Lupron, cause they don't have a use for a puberty blocker in their HRT treatment.

@rimugu
Playing devil's advocate: it's not uncommon for the same medication or drug to have different effects based on the dosage used.
Use high dosage Lupron, and you completely burn out the hormonal system permanently, to achieve chemical castration.
Low dosage Lupron, impedes the hormonal system, but doesn't irreversibly affect it.

End of playing devil's advocate.

Personally, I'm not convinced that using it in low dosage has no negative effect, or even no serious negative effect, on the bodies of children.

In any case, to me this whole question is a moot point anyway, as children simply don't have the mental capacity to understand matters of gender and sex. As such they can't possibly know for sure that a "trans" identity would fit themselves for the rest of their life, and they also can't consent to these procedures.

My thought too. But there's also the possibility of working via reverse psychology. You see the stickers, refuse to acknowledge that you're fat, and take the stairs out of stubbornness.

@coolboymew
Shouldn't it be the other way around? Get fat people to do some exercise? Also, I'd say concrete steps are gonna be sturdier and resist the excess weight better.

She posted her feet online. I'd instantly become an alcoholic too.

I'm not a huge fan of the generic retro synthwave look, but libs are definitely just mad. It's not any worse than any other forced "look we intentionally made something look old" thing.

Cats are more important than your freedoms.

Return to worshipping cats.

First I heard of this. Not a fan of the name, but if it's good, I can deal with that.

I've been using Bing as my primary search engine for many years now. Every once in a while, when I really can't find something, after trying all kinds of search terms, I'll end up doing a Google search too.

For a long time Google did help in those situations, and solved whatever query I had, and quite fast too.

Very recently though, when finally going to Google as a last resort, I notice that it doesn't manage to find a good result for me either. I wouldn't necessarily say the results are better or worse than Bing, but for me, it's not as good anymore that I know I can depend on Google when all else fails. It has been downgraded to "just another search engine".

Maybe I should rephrase that to "do moderate to left-wing Americans still want Canadian healthcare". I already know that right-wingers never wanted it.
