I just had a weird feeling that if I put this here, it might actually reach the targeted demographic at some point.
Yeah, I know it's a stupid video. But it made me laugh a bit, so... can't be that bad.

@Mr_NutterButter Same here, I couldn't watch anything after Alien Force because I just hated the art style. Alien Force won me over cause it had a pretty interesting plot, and added a lot to the lore.

You either learn how to treat your partner or how to raise children from your parents, or you learn how NOT to treat your partner and raise children.

It depends a lot I think on how well you were raised. If there was a good healthy relationship, there are probably gonna be things that you unconsciously copy and never even think about it. So sure, there are gonna be some similarities. But I stress "similarities", because your partner will never be exactly like your parent, so your behavior will adapt to him/her.
But if the relationship was bad, you're more likely to end up thinking about your parents actions, and try to do things differently.

TL;DR There are always gonna be things you pick up from your parents, but it's not gonna be a perfect 1-to-1 correlation to how you treat other people, especially if you had a bad relationship with your parents.

@Mr_NutterButter Man... that's a long time ago... might have been the fast guy, I think his name was something like XLR8. Diamond Head was probably a close second.
I never really liked any of the new aliens from later series.

A lot of parents would spoil their kids to hell and back with games and consoles, because they've been gamers themselves at some point in their lives. But when there's simply not enough children to begin with, and political leaders are salivating at the idea of importing more human beings, like cattle, than babies being made... It's simply a better investment for companies to focus on adults.

Case example: you're Valve and want to do research on a new gamepad or joystick.
Is it a better idea to focus your research on how children hold a gamepad, when your birth rate is predicted to keep dropping, and nobody even wants to fix it (and there's enough conspiracy theories that elites work to make it drop more)?
Or should you do your research on adults, since you know politicians insist that we will import more and more adult human cattle, at least until the end of the century?
In the first case, your research is less and less relevant as time goes on, but in the second case, the research remains useful and pays dividends for a long time.

The reason they can't market towards kids is not because the gaming market has become big, but because the growth potential for advertising to kids is too small. There are no kids. Society is broken and no one is having kids. Even suggesting to a woman to have children is now in the best case scenario taboo, in the worst case scenario is considered misogyny worthy of a prison sentence. The only "children" women want to take care of are illegal immigrants from some god forsaken hell whole, who are also adults.

So the only market that exists and keeps having a reliable potential for growth, not just in gaming, but in entertainment as a whole, is adults. And this might also be what has caused media to be stuck in this remake era. They keep playing on adult's nostalgia, instead of making something that children of today might like.

>They made it bigger
I've heard people argue before, and I didn't quite believe it, but I'm starting to. Gaming is not for children anymore. They're not focusing on making games or consoles for children. The entire market is focusing solely on adults.
Kids can cope with a smaller screen because they're holding it closer to their face anyway, since they're, you know, small kids. But adults need bigger screens, bigger surfaces to grasp, etc.

Pretty based for having integrated auto-mapping, inventory, character windows etc. I found a few years back a program that gives these facilities for a few old cRPGs like Might&Magic by hacking into DosBox.

Ultimately women's choices when it comes to children are voluntary, but there is something to be said about whether you can say someone is making a choice with informed consent when the feminist religion is giving people false/fake information on which they base their decision making. Is it your choice if you're being manipulated into it?

But in the end women are still responsible to gather information outside the propaganda (which too many don't do, and that's a choice in itself for which they are solely responsible).

You know... it would be kinda poetic if Snow White 1937 gave Disney its success, and Snow White 2025 finally collapsed the company. Almost StarWars-esque, the birth and downfall of a Hollywood empire.

@js I meant that South Park had an episode around hummel figurines. I think the town became obsessed with collecting them, and I think the boys where smuggling them or something.

@jeremiah In case you haven't noticed, chad communists appreciated the beauty of adult women. Not children... fucking Germans...

@AnarchoNinaWrites
Have you seen the EU? Cause what you're describing, the slow boiling of the frog, is what is happening here.

@VD15 Technically I have allergies too, but it doesn't get bad unless I basically go to a remote village in the middle of summer and live there for a few days. Cities are sterile enough for me that it's rarely an issue.

And when I would get the nosebleeds, there was no correlation with an allergic reaction or even a cold.

I don't even know why they stopped. I guess, at some point, whatever blood vessels were causing problems became more sturdy as I grew.

Hope your allergies get better though.

@VD15 Haven't had a nosebleed since I was a teenager. God I don't miss those. They'd come out of nowhere. Literally had one once because a friend jokingly flicked my nose.

TFW you realize communists did "anime figurine" collections before it was cool. Ok, not actually anime, but same basic idea.

Also, this is a random picture off the internet, not my family's stuff, BUT, there are 2 pieces here that my mom did possess at some point.
