Considering I've played and modded the hell out of the original... I honestly don't see a reason why I'd want to play the new one.
It's the same story. It's gonna be the same quests. The same items, weapons, armor. I don't know if the skills and skill progression is the same, but let's just say I'd be completely against if they went the Skyrim or F4 route. So in best case scenario, the skill system is the same. Same region, same cities, same NPCs.
What exactly does it offer besides newer models and redone texture? And I'm not sure even those impress me. The dated textures had a charm of their own, to the point where my preferred hi-res texture pack was one that was created by upscaling via AI.

Original Oblivion, and my extensive library of mods that I've cherry picked and backed up, give me a far better value than a brand new Oblivion Remaster, that likely has the same gameplay inadequacies that are solved via mods in the original one. So now I need to wait and pray someone remakes the exact same mods for the new one, so that I can enjoy it?

Yup. I'm definitely staying with the original. Or maybe I'll play Skyblivion if it ever releases.

Honestly, if someone were to say "based" or "cucked" next to me IRL... that'd be cringe and I wouldn't really want to be next to that guy either. I'm of the opinion that internet slang shouldn't be uttered IRL.
"Normie" just barely makes the cut to being acceptable, but only because there isn't a political association with it. You hear "based" and you probably think of some kind of right-wing, you hear "cucked" and probably think about a male feminist. "Normie" can be about gaming, anime, all sorts of niche fandoms and hobbies.

How big of age gaps are we talking about here? Cause if you see someone that is barely 20 hanging out with someone in their 60s, there's something odd going on there.
Overall though, the best metric I've come across is: take your age, divide by 2, add 7, and that's the youngest you can date without it being weird.

@eris That is true. Some religions are better, more useful to a thriving society, and some are worse. But ultimately any religion that posits some supernatural force that created or controls the universe will hit the wall of reality. And at that point, they tend to be detrimental.

People are rushing to talk and argue about who's gonna be the next pope, will he be woke or based, progressive or conservative, a heretic or a real catholic.

The benefit of me being an atheist is that I don't even need to pretend to care. And no matter who gets chosen, I'll still have plenty to criticize them with, cause Christianity is still fake and gay, just like every other religion.
