These things make me laugh out loud, cause I know for sure none of y'all would actually dare do it.
@VD15
My default mirror was France, which was pretty fast for me. But it might not have been the case for you.

I'm guessing this doesn't exist because the database would get too big. I guess it's gonna depend on how many features you'll want it to have, but just including cover pictures and character portraits will bloat the hell out of it.
I'm sure there is some way to get the data from anilist or myanimelist, and make it into an offline program, but I don't think it's gonna be worth the hassle. Which is probably why nobody did it.
@VD15
Try running:
sudo pacman-mirrors --fasttrack && sudo pacman -Syyu
It should speed test all available mirrors and keep the fastest ones.
Make sure to backup /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
@VD15
I'm guessing whatever mirror it checks by default is slow for you, so maybe you should look into that. For me it works just fine, so I never had to tweak anything there.
@coolboymew
I think I'm only aware of about 4 of these guys. Have no idea who the others are.

The joke is one of the wheels of the shopping cart is usually stuck in some way, or just doesn't move as well as the others.
In this case, Vim represents that bad wheel.

I'd say Italy and Greece are pretty interesting too. They should get together.
@canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @colonelj
I'd say that most of Europe disagrees with that. The battle seems to be between monster girls and futanari. And I think the dick girls are winning.
@colonelj
I'm disappointed in Moldavians.
@ZySoua
It didn't even end with anime girls. I'm disappointed.

Da, rahatul ăsta e destul de nasol.

Don't worry, I've got my weird moments when I laugh at stupid stuff. My guilty pleasure is laughing at puns for instance.

Culture might also play a role. I think we actually appreciate meekness more in our priests than others. So they generally try their best not to shout at the top of their lungs.
@canidaeportent@kiwifarms.cc @igeljaeger@anime.website @matrix @steakwipe
No... we're not really the zealous type when it comes to religion. And our romance language isn't exactly the most intimidating either. Even if the narrator tried his best, he couldn't replicate the fervor you see in English speaking evangelicals.

Yeah, sometimes things from other languages can sound funny, because the same pronunciation of words can have entire different meanings in your native language.
