Honestly, I prefer the sites/services I use to be as lean as possible. If I can add a functionality via a browser extension, I prefer that over a more complex/slower website. Especially if it's not a feature I constantly use.

If people claimed gab had white nationalists and other far-right groups, I'd say, yes it has, just like any other platform with millions of users.
But when they go for the "muh nazis", that's an entirely different matter. Nazis are a whole lot different matter than your average white nationalist, and true nazi ideology died off after WW2. There is neo-nazi, that is a thing, but even that is a pale imitation.
In short, if you want to grab my attention, don't make accusations of "nazis".
