I never managed to notice anything performance wise, but alt-tabbing is much better in fake fullscreen. Even in Linux.

I never played Doom back in the old days. Hard to say for sure which was the first game I played on my computer. One of the firsts was Starcraft.
But in general, the first PC game I played might have been Wolfenstein 3D. My memories on the order of things are a bit fuzzy.

I kinda want to do a Pokemon run on my phone, but I'm afraid I'll turn autistic about it again.

My Pokemon autism consists in 3 main things:
1) I become obsessed in getting good pokemon for my main team, so I keep checking IVs of everything I catch, and catching multiple of the same pokemon until I find something good.
2) I become obsessed with trying to grow berries, and guarantee they don't go extinct, which usually means I have to grind for berries at least twice a day.
3) I become obsessed with catching everything from a route before moving to the next zone. So I'll keep grinding until I catch one of those 1% encounter rates.

Combined, these autisms make playing Pokemon into a chore over time, which is why I never managed to finish gen 4.

It's literally useless to talk about our death numbers, because our health system is in ruins. We can't even take care of our own burn victims. We've had about 3 fires break out in hospitals since the pandemic started. Our only real way to prevent deaths here is to prevent infection cases.

Yeah, we have mask mandate for public spaces, who doesn't? The difference was some among us were smart enough to start wearing them even before any mandate came in. You on the other hand have a large part of the population that are trying to rebel cause "muh masks don't work", while being too stupid to understand how they're supposed to work in the first place.
