Took me too long to realize the guitar was photoshopped in.

I sometimes get weird browser behavior with streaming video, but it doesn't even manage to completely crash the browser. I have my doubts that it can completely freeze a PC, even a Windows one. But you should try to switch your browser for a while, to try to eliminate this possibility.

You should look at what other tasks Windows schedules around that time. Could be the drive optimizations or something going on.
If it happens consistently at around the same time, at night, it's very unlikely to have anything to do with the CPU. Hardware issues would cause completely random crashes, at random times of day. If it's consistent enough to notice it happens at night, it's either the OS, or some specific program that has something scheduled to take place at night.

That title is kinda stupid since pretty much all lab mice are "humanized" to some extent.

Apparently Windows Update can now update the BIOS for you... It's amazingly useful for low-skilled users, but also so incredibly dangerous... I'm not sure whether to congratulate Microsoft or to wish for their demise.

@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew
Strange... wasn't 3-4AM the usual auto-restart time for Windows auto-update?

@Pendragon @coolboymew
Works fine on Linux, yes. But the laptop isn't for me, so I have to install Windows on it.

At least there are 2 silver linings with this situation:
1) the laptop isn't mine, so this is the first and last time I'll have to deal with this bullcrap
2) Linux once again proves itself superior, because it wasn't phased by Intel's bullshit, and was able to perfectly see the NVME drive.

I haven't had to provide a "hard drive" driver to the installing OS ever since very early SATA days with Windows XP. Then Intel had to come along and fuck up everything...

You'd think Intel would think about pushing it's drivers to Microsoft well before release of their CPUs, so that the Windows spring update would have everything good to go. But noooo... Fuck Intel in the ass.

Nevermind... INTEL CAN GO FUCK ITSELF!

For future reference for anyone having to install Windows 10 on Intel 11 gen CPUs.

BTW, if you've got any idea why Windows 10, booted from a USB drive made in Linux doesn't see a NVME disk on a laptop, let me know. Right now I'm trying different tools to make the USB, in case Ventoy was messing something up.
