The prices are what they are because they're made with the player in mind, not to make it look like a realistic world.

Enchanted weapons are expensive so the player can't buy one in early game. He needs to put work in learning smiting and enchanting to make them himself.

Houses are expensive so that the player can't buy one immediately, and when he's gathered up some gold, he'll have a tough choice as to what house to buy, or whether to buy one at all.

And selling watermelons or chopping wood makes little money so that the player can't easily get rich from those things. He needs to actually explore and do dungeons.

A lot of times people fail to understand the difference between what is canon in these games, and when things are the way they are just for gameplay reasons. Canonically, you can buy a house by being a farmer. But that would break gameplay, so in game, you the player can't do that.

Economy of TES games will always be whacked as long as dungeons respawn and you can basically make infinite gold if you play long enough.

I see... when you reached that point where I trust you can't be trusted, not really.

For someone to gain that status, it means they regularly partake in malevolent and untrustworthy behavior. It's like a habit for them. And breaking such habits is gonna be hard enough that for me there's no point in believing they'll ever be able to do it.

If you want to survive around these parts, best be ruthless and remember that some of these bastards aren't above stalking you just for the fun of it.

Hitler was shit not because he could paint nice looking things, but because all he did was replicate. He wasn't original. IIRC, he made a living by painting copies of postcards and the like.

For some people I trust that they are and always will be untrustworthy.

There are a few individuals I've know for a longer time, or that I've noticed have a more sweet innocent trustworthy personality, with whom I'll be more lenient and take them for their word. Of course that doesn't mean I'll easily doxx myself to them if they ask.

There is a half way point between actually trusting someone and never posting. It is the internet friend spectrum.

And sometimes it sucks, for sure. There are definitely some fucking cons to that space. However, the other options are worse. Either being so giving of trust that you get kicked around the internet like a failed e-celeb or just turning inward, reading and never posting. Basically seething.

Find that middle ground.

>pressuring people and making them feel terrible
That's those people's fault for being stupid. No one else's. The internet has always been filled with trolls that try to find something to make you snap or rage. That's nothing new or sus.
