There's something that confuses me while reading the description. If I were to post something on this thing, does it actually go to a 3rd party server? Initially it sounds like it works completely like bittorrent, in that the content is local, in your client, and other people can view your posts only while you have the client open and accessible to the relays.

@thor @icedquinn
Just reading the description, it sounds user unfriendly, cumbersome. In a way it sounds closer to the bittorrent protocol. Sounds interesting, but I'm not completely convinced.

>some random instance admin should not determine your destiny.
This reminds me of one of those quotes right-wing authoritarians use, that goes something like: "people want to be controlled and lead by someone stronger". If these people want their instance admin to determine their destiny, what can we do about it?

@thor
>many of them feel they never discriminated
It's not "feel", it's "they never discriminated" full stop.

>the whole idea of "black lives matter" is not trying to say white lives don't matter.
Yeah... You have failed the test.

Basically the rhetoric you will be confronted with is: how can you acknowledge the oppression PoCs have suffered, and support BLM, but refuse to acknowledge the oppression of trans individuals, and refuse to make it clear in your rules that trans lives matter.

>but everyone can see that cops in America kill more black people than white people.
What metric are you using? By pure numbers, it's a solid no. By pure percentage of population yes, but by percentage compared to crime committed by the demographic it goes back to no.

@thor @grantonthenet
>you didn't see it
That part of the story concerns me the most. Cause it sounds more like the owner interpreting dog whistles he imagined because of his own biases.

@thor
How do you feel about the statement: "All lives matter"?

Everything you said is perfectly normal and decent. But the people who are gonna have an issue with you are gonna interpret what you just said as the equivalent of "all lives matter", and I'm sure you're aware of the debate around that phrase.

I'm not saying you should change anything, just making sure you are prepared for the potential attacks.

@Flomotion
>real estate
Excuse me, what?! Is "real estate" a term, I'm not familiar with, for the online ad market?

@MischievousTomato
If you are able to acknowledge that they are shit products, and everything Apple advertises about their products is basically a lie, that's fine by me.

@Jain @yonle
I'm guessing the joke is that people will respond: "mango?", and then you laugh at them and say: "Are you blind? That's a watermelon!".

@samuraikid
I thought that might be it. Arizona got stolen again, has it?

What makes for a better shooter:

Man, I love this day. I keep finding funnier and funnier shit. This alone will help me laugh at Apple fanboys for weeks on end. I think I'm gonna save it as a meme, and just send it to any fanboy that tries to kiss Steve Job's desiccated ass.
