Brodie Robertson and everybody else in the linux world keeps yelling at people for wanting steamOS on PC when they should "just install bazzite".

It is impossible to explain to a linuxfag that their failed community ecosystem is in large part due to their compete inability to name things.
"SteamOS" -- it's an OS for steam
"ChromeOS" -- it's an OS for chrome
"Microsoft Office" -- "I guess that's tools you'd use in an office"
"Mapquest" -- guess I look at maps
"Door dash" -- "they dash things to your door
"Minecraft" -- you mine things and you craft things

"bazzite" -- what the fuck does that mean
"gnome" -- what the fuck does that mean
"mutter" -- is that like a mumble alternative?
"Wayland" -- like from Aliens?
"minetest" -- sounds like Minecra-- oh wait you changed it to "Luanti" WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN

I wonder, what are the chances I accidentally stumbled upon a next HoloEN member?

@alyx @grey 99% of Twitch's problems would be resolved if they had just stuck to video games.

"Just Chatting", "art" streams, and e-thots have all worked out terribly.

Hasan Piker was banned for a whole 24 hours.... Twitch is such a joke.

How to pretend you don't watch porn:

step 1: wait for YouTube to introduce a new feature
step 2: some time later post: "wow, I can't believe Pornhub stole this feature from YouTube!!!"
step 3: wait for literally everyone to correct you, letting you know Pornhub had the feature long before YouTube
step 4: ???
step 5: profit

Quick question, why hasn't Pornhub implemented an AI porn image generator yet?

I for one embrace our future AI overlords.
We're only 4 years away from DALL-E. Remember DALL-E and how it struggled to make simple images? Now, not only do we have realistic video, but it also includes sound, or more accurately spoken language, and lip syncing. What will we see in a couple more years? What will be able to trust by 2030?
We are gonna be so fucked...

On the bright side, I think entertainment won't be an issue, because the real world will be interesting and chaotic enough to keep our attention.

I'm calling it, Wikipedia is racist.
Using the n-word like that? I mean, why insist on putting the n-word in a title if you're not racist? Clearly they just love to say it and write it everywhere.

Obviously sarcasm, but seeing how this is usually how the argument goes, how has this wiki page survived?

Apparently there's an engine remake in the works for Elder Scrolls Arena. It's not playable yet, but if this gets finished, we'll have all the mainline games in working order for modern systems. Pretty neat.

Every time I hear someone say "the Schedule I game" it sounds to me as if someone is censoring himself from saying the actual name of the game, and using an innuendo instead. Instead of taking it as the actual name of an actual game, my brain somehow decides to start searching for a reference instead.

It's like when you hear "the F word", and your brain analyzes the context to figure out if it references "fuck", "fag" or something else entirely. Only for "Schedule I" my brain finds nothing, and leaves me in a state of confusion "I wonder what game this could be". Except I KNOW the game. I haven't played it, but I've seen footage, I've heard the copyright controversy.

Every single fucking time my brain does this, then leaves me feeling stupid when I eventually realize, "Oh, right, 'Schedule I' IS the actual name".
