yo i was actually able to read some japanese today!
didn't have any idea what it said except for the kanji for "day" as well as "no" meaning it was "day of something" but hey learned some vocab haha.
it was "ii futomomo no hi" (いいふとももの日) "nice thighs day."

i've been practicing more on my hiragana instead of vocab lately because i want to be able to play animal crossing in japanese soon.

@beardalaxy Here's extra fuckery. In case you didn't know.

Because it's November, the 11th month, and it looks like two I's, that's いい. Futo is close to ふた futa, the kun-yomi for 2. Momo, while in the instance of futomomo would have a different kanji, the kanji for momo as in peach (桃) has とう tou as the on-yomi, which is close enough to the kun-yomi for 10, とお to-o. So that's why it's specifically 11/20. There are so many goofy layers to these puns for all those different art days, I love it.
