@LittleTom I hate it. I grew up in the South so it's second nature for me to just say it, but now I've forced myself to stop. When a faggot says it, you can tell by the way it's emphasized that it's for faggot reasons.
Oh so this is why my CF adaptor and several other PC Cards wouldn't work I am guessing. I know PC Card is super old and the drivers were buggy, but it just strikes me as stupid that you flat out just can't use a once-ubiquitous three-decade old interface on the kernel known as Linux.
Tried my ThinkPad T60p and it seems like the backlight is working again so maybe it was a fluke when it wasn't working all those months ago... maybe it is "so back bros" as they say
