Right … and there's been /how many/ Mario games? How many Smash Bros?
It's repetitive because they know it sells. Why take a risk when you have a winning formula right there?

@bakubased @Rhodesian_YuKari @ChristiJunior @matrix Pokemon is more relevant than Smash, as Smash generally only releases once a console generation and often at least tries different single player stuff. Pokemon they churn out just about every year and it sells no matter how half-assed it is.

@ArdanianRight Good point, Pokémon also has a generational aspect to it. Kids that grew up with Pokémon are having kids of their own, so the cycle repeats.
