@picandor I don't have this problem, but I do actually have a sheet over my chair so that all I have to do to clean it is throw it in the wash. My roommates questioned me and all I had to say was "I have the cleanest chair in the house." 
@beardalaxy @picandor It's the farts, not the wiping. The sheet won't help that much in that front
