It's like with Spiderman: No Way Home in the movie space. It was a big hit financially (I didn't watch so I can't vouch for its quality nor do I care), and then the movies after were all shit (according to EFAP and all my other trusted reviewers).
Sometimes I'm glad I'm not so emotionally attached to these old IPs. On one hand, I wonder if it soils some of my enjoyment of things, but on the other hand, it saves me a lot of grief over something I don't have control over. Heck, even Xenoblade is showing some cracks... At least for Takahashi (the man who conceived it all), it seems the story he wanted to tell in Xenoblade 3 is going along just fine, but it's some of the extra stuff injected in between for world building and filling in "the journey" that you can tell has hints of current year politics. Cancer starts from a single cell, yknow?
I'm so glad I'm able to create my own stuff, and that I didn't buy XC3.
I was content just not caring about things and enjoying muh vidya, but then all this stuff infects it.

Write! If you currently don’t have another skill like being able to draw, animate, sing, design, or whatever, at least try to put your emotions into words. It’s the most basic form of persistent communication not just between humans, but between you and yourself. Conceive a scene you’ve always wanted to see become reality. To make it easy, you can start with stuff you already know. For example, I could go write a horny fanfic of a threesome between my real self, Alexandria, and Ethel (both from XC3; the game I am currently playing). For you, what if it was Dorothea and Edelgard from FE3H instead? It’d be both fun and a way for you to develop an art form, and in this case, I offer you to start at the art of literature and linguistics. You will find that maybe you can’t draw a juicy looking sex scene like our beloved JP artists, but you could manipulate words and language to immerse a reader in a totally different way. I tried writing a smutty short story, and I can tell you that it was much more provoking than I thought it’d be. Even if you don’t take it beyond just a mental exercise or a small thought project to try out, it’s still something creative and thoughtful.
You gotta find something bro, a craft to hone that you can be proud of. I’m just an internet anon to you and everyone else, but regardless, I want to foster as many individuals as possible for the next cultural renaissance. This is just a test of your strength if you can survive the downfall (in this case entertainment media). Let the things giving you sorrow and anger be your strength; convert it into productive energy so we can excise and outlast the fifth column parasites tearing down everything you love. It could be hard at first, but don’t give up. You are defined by your triumphs and tribulations, and finding purpose beyond just consuming products can be tough in our world.
