I just found out that there is an open-source implementation of A Link to The Past on PC.
This Link to The Past PC Port is amazing. It runs real smoothly and supports XInput controllers. It's probably the best port out there. I'm surprised that it isn't as well known.

I might try it out. I've never finished a Zelda game yet. I have an unfinished save on my 3DS and I got super bored with Breath of the Wild. I started Ocarina of Time on UltraHLE in high school and never finished it either.
I just got through a second play through of Fire Emblem so I should probably go back to BOTW just to finish it and say I've beat .. one Zelda game.

@djsumdog @xianc78 @coolboymew the first zelda game i ever "beat" was wind waker but i skipped the triforce quest entirely. the first time i did it for real was with skyward sword in like 2015.
