@jfk @Corfiot @hideki i found the problem, it was using a different audio backend and i couldn't switch to the one i was using before because it kept giving me errors. i had to turn my mixer up all the way to get it to sound even somewhat close and even then the EQ still sounded weird so i had to fiddle around with it manually. probably sounds fine to someone who doesn't know i had to do that and in what part of the song.

i got the song pretty much done though, i could sit around for hours and tweak stuff here and there but i don't really have that kind of time >.> gonna' do a car stereo test in a few hours and tweak stuff around after that if i have to.

@jfk @hideki @Corfiot i just go from a behringer mixer to my pc via usb, then it gets put into mixcraft.

@jfk @hideki @Corfiot not at all lol, it's a xenyx q802, just a small little guy.

i'm mainly a vocalist/musician, not really that good at the technical side of it or even producing really. i can't even really read music lol i just sing and play well.
