Radical pacifism is the idea that any kind of aggressive action is unacceptable, regardless of context.
A radical pacifist would find any kind of punishment meant to inflict suffering or even unwanted stress, abhorrent.
A radical pacifist would be very upset by a rapist or murderer going to any kind of jail, they would want the rapist or murderer to be consoled, and offered therapy and resources, no matter how many times they repeatedly rape or murder.
