It is funny how Tears changes a lot of things to prevent speedrunning exploits. Not just plain old bug fixes, but design changes as well.

@LukeAlmighty yes, but A) this is nintendo we're talking about lol and B) it's good to fix bugs where you can to preserve the original intended experience.
the fact that you can make crazy jumps and run forever in botw would completely subvert the use of all the new stuff they added in tears.
given the new systems there are bound to be heaps of new strategies and crazy shit that speedrunners will discover anyway lol.
