@LukeAlmighty buy a really cheap guitar, doesn't matter how good it sounds (unless you already own one). You're gonna want to learn all of the parts of the guitar first. Then the names of all the strings in standard tuning (EADGBE, a good way to remember is "Elvis ate drugs good bye Elvis) and how to tune them (there is an easy trick where you only need to know how one of the strings sounds when tuned to get the rest of them right that any YouTuber will probably teach you).
Once you get all of this down and committed to memory, THEN you can start learning proper hand placement, how to hold a guitar pick, strumming patterns, and then finally how to play tabs.
It's important to start with a strong foundation and then build it up.

Thanks, but tunning a guitar is the most useless skill for now. Yes, I can learn how to make the guitar "sound good" later, but first lesson should be, how to make sounds.
