Practically impossible as schools rely heavily if not solely on apps to inform students about the hows and what’s of the day. But maybe, just maybe it will improve the situation and things will turn for the better.

We didn't have phones and social media designed to fuck with our dopamine receptors as kids. You can't simply say that kids are just weak if they can't break the habit.

Man, I have much bigger problems then fediverse in my life.
And thanks for missing my point completely. Phones exist, and they won't be in the safe while they do their homework. The phones won't be guarded while the kids have to learn before the exams.
Kids have to learn how to put phone down on their own, and class is the best place to learn it.

I think you're full of shit. You take for granted that older generations weren't assailed with the level of distraction media that the current one is and you simply expect the kids to get by as we did.
