@Mr_NutterButter it's fine when the short is like, just a short video that doesn't need to be drawn out to 10 minutes. though i still think the UI for shorts is absolute ass. why it doesn't let you seek is beyond me.

@roboneko @Mr_NutterButter because companies see other successful companies doing something and just want to copy it instead of maintaining their own personality.
youtube is a hollow shell of what it used to be. do you remember when you could completely customize your entire channel page however you wanted, and you could send DMs and be friends with other users? all of that is just gone now. it's so sterile.
