Finished up that more complex side quest and got both characters' schedules down for the success and failure conditions!

Gonna try to get the colorblind stuff working now. Shouldn't be too hard! I suspect it there are bugs with it I won't know until I do a full playthrough with all the screen color changes that happen.

Think I got it! I need to find a better image to represent filters, right now it's just a rainbow placeholder. I got all 3 types of colorblindness and added in some extra color options as well. The Windows one is always gonna be better but I think it's still a nice little option to have. Especially if you're, well, not on Windows. I am planning on building the game for Linux as well, and I was going to do it for Mac but Apple likes to completely change their graphics backend all the time so the version of RPG Maker I have doesn't actually support Mac anymore.

If the game does well I could port it to Android eventually too, but I'm a lot less familiar with that process. It can technically be ported to the consoles as well, but that would be something I'd have to pay someone else to do unless I wanted it to be pretty bootleg and only available via homebrew lol.

Point being, color filters will be good for Linux users, or perhaps people using bootcamp on a Mac or whatever that's called.

@beardalaxy I think RPG Maker games can only be realistically ported to Xbox branded consoles because they seemed to be the only ones supporting HTML5 games. Nintendo seems to be outright refusing to allow HTML5 games on their console despite advertising themselves as "indie friendly" and the fact that the Wii U had a JavaScript API for indies. I don't know about Sony, but I'd rather not support them given the direction they are going.

@xianc78 there are some rpg maker games that have been ported to switch, I know that for sure. Omori, for instance. Some older ones have also been ported to MV and brought to Switch, like Ib, which was originally an RM2000 game. Not sure about Xbox or PS honestly, idk if there is as big of a market there.

@xianc78 not saying my game will be ported to switch though lol, maybe if someone approached me willing to port it and give me a percentage of the sales I'd take them up on it but otherwise, eh. I'm not gonna go looking myself.

If it makes it to android, technically someone with a switch could play it anyway if they sideload android.

@SpurgAnon pretty cliche jrpg story haha, there's a plague that's killing all the plants, a teenage girl and her older brother have to find a way to stop it.

It's a open narrative game that focuses a lot more on the world itself than the main story. There are lots of optional dungeons and quests.

Main story is completely finished, minus some polish and probably a little bit of balance. I've been working on side quests and NPCs this year and last year it was all dungeons, cities/environments, and treasures.
