I have a good feeling that this is fake. They are using the cliche "grey alien", and the thing looks like it's made out of paper-mache. They claim to have done a DNA test on it and 30% of it is unknown, disregarding the fact that life out there might not even use DNA let alone have 70% of their DNA the same as life on Earth.

The worst part is that anyone who can see through this psyop is going to be lumped in with flat-earthers.

@xianc78 I think the opposite, actually. Nobody is buying this shit.

From USAToday article:

« In 2015, Maussan unveiled the existence of what was alleged to be an alien body unearthed in Nazca, Peru. Later, though, that "alien" discovery was debunked, and the mummified corpse was shown to be that of a human child with a head deformity, according to fact-checking website snopes.com. »

I haven’t been following Maussan’s work (although I had hear about the Nazca alien) but I know for a fact that Snopes.com had been pushing some fake debunking in the past which made me want to check what this debunking is about. If you look at the Snopes’ article and go back to the original source of the supposed debunking of Maussan’s work, you’ll find out that the debunking is totally bogus. It seems that the debunking source has retracted its claims.

So basically USAToday article attempts to discredit Maussan on the basis of a bogus debunking.
