@beardalaxy You have an HDR 400 monitor? The color reproduction often sucks, which might have it look paler than without HDR.
@berkberkman I have an HDR TV and an HDR monitor. The TV is a TCL so maybe not the best quality but the color is pretty good imo, and the monitor is an LG IPS panel with very good color. Says it supports HDR 10.
@beardalaxy HDR for monitors is strange. There's the common one (HDR400) where it's all washed out and has bad contrast, while the popular and expensive ones (HDR1000) have more saturated colors and deeper contrasts (thanks to OLED).
@berkberkman gotcha. Yeah there's no reason I would use it when my contrast and colors are already fantastic anyway.

I bought an HDR monittor only, so I can have it always turned off.
I hate that shit :D
(most likely, because the damage it does to unprepared software.)
