I've been real big into drone/doom lately. Volume 1 by sleep was pretty good. Black One by Sunn O))) is good. Also I'm starting to come around on QOTSA, soundtracks for the deaf is pretty good

@doctorsex @beardalaxy Ever listen to Sleep? Or for a slower doom there’s Earth. I have to be in the right mood, but those guys are pretty awesome.

Earth was my gateway drug. Sleep I generally like but they're a bit more hit and miss for me

I think some of those guys are in High on Fire, who are pretty good. One of the guys from sleep is an orthodox monk and has this Deathtotheworld blog/zine.

Gatecreeper isn't bad. Gojira is evergreen. Khemmis is underrated. I'd throw primitive man up there too but I'd caution that the guys in that band are huge faggots
