@LukeAlmighty what happened? Did the battery just dry out because you never charged it or something? Did you try leaving it on the dock for a while? Or is it actually bricked for some reason?

@LukeAlmighty yeah if you didn't try just keeping it on the dock for a bit it's worth a shot. Or if that doesn't work, plug the power cable into the switch directly because the dock could be broken too.
If that doesn't work then, damn. You're probably SOL unless you want to open the thing up and probably do some soldering/cleaning.

I have a switch and the game. Therefore, I will play my game the way I preffer it anyway.
But I might have to fix the switch for the boxing game anyway.
