people are seriously considering AI-developed video games because of how shitty AAA ones are. ridiculous. if you're going to go that far just to play something that isn't woke or whatever the fuck, dive through the decades of amazing games before this shit ever started instead. not some stupid ai shit.
@mischievoustomato AI mods are fine because it's just a mod. an actual game, though, a product being sold officially... no.
@beardalaxy I feel like there's really two distinct groups of gamers (and I guess the types of games they consume) now, those who are into a wide swathe of single-A and indie stuff, and then those who are only consuming a handful of AAA/live service things. And as game studios and serieses keep going on they seem to inch towards the AAA side and make series concessions with each new iteration...
@arc I've been way more interested in smaller games since like 2009 when I was first exposed to the PS Store. Kind of sad that most of my friends just don't really seem to get it... They just try to ignore the slopaganda in AAA games and focus on only the good parts of the games.
