@tomie I am a man. A man who loves Jesus, but a man nonetheless. I don't think anyone is going to hell for getting their rocks off to furry porn every now and then and I think there are much, much more important things to focus on. There is also the fact that you could really say this about any vice or lifestyle choice. Drinking, tattoos... even swearing is something many Christians see as sinful. To point at people who partake in drink and call them non-Christian while there are supposedly-ordained priests molesting children behind closed doors is rather petty misdirection. It is the cut between "judge not lest ye be judged" and "by their fruits ye shall know them" which appear in the same chapter together.
Personally I consider it to be a problem only if it becomes addiction and/or leads to harming others. It's how I look at most things when it comes to determining if one is doing evil acts or not. I've come a very long way and I hope to go a longer way still in ensuring that my actions result in a net positive for as many people as I can affect, and I think that's the main focus for me. We are all a constant work in progress, and for that, grace and mercy shall be shown to those who exhibit it. I think that this is the way to look at it for people who are not perfect and never will be.
I'm not above poking fun at it either, though, considering I'm doing the very thing you're posting about lol. I still think it's an interesting conversation to have.
