@Mr_NutterButter personally i just really do not want to fund what are essentially corrupt warlords and i think that we create them by funding them.

it is one thing to say that russia invaded and they're are wholly in the wrong for that (which i don't even necessarily agree with), it's another thing to say that the war should continue "to the last ukrainian" just because russia were the ones to invade. this is a losing war. we're losing money, and most importantly lives.
