How many of you have never spent $80 or more on a video game? I'm not talking base price, I'm talking about DLC, subscriptions, micro-transactions, everything. Total cost.

For me, I think most AAA games I actually end up buying and playing, I end up spending that much money or more on. Typically. A game with an $80 price up front doesn't phase me at all as long as it will have the amount of content I expect and the amount of playtime relative to its cost.

@beardalaxy Modern fightan game DLC can reach up to more than $100 and I still never spent that amount on it all, let alone a single game costing $80. Maybe one sub I've went past that amount in total but I don't automatically renew it, its practically buying a new game to me
@beardalaxy
The two I can think of, were dungeon defenders 2, and world of warcraft. Both of which were very disappointing experiences xD
@beardalaxy (also elite danger, but that was a gift, and equally as disappointing xD)
@beardalaxy for MK specifically if it’s as big as the last game with the DLC it costs as much as the last game with DLC
@beardalaxy about 500$ on black desert and 350$ on path of exile, games that I spent thousands of hours in. No regerts

@beardalaxy Many times, sometimes on regular games with DLC like SF6. But I used to play a fuckton of Korean MMOs and regrettably paid no mind to shelling out money constantly...

Honestly if games are normal with no live service faggotry and actual optimization and actual meaty content I will not mind paying $100 for a game.
