I think the one thing that really stuck with me through all the international relations classes I had in college was that everyone was fully admitting that America's global hegemony has fucked up a lot of things but the solutions put forth by the professors and most normalfags classmates wasn't to stop doing it, it was to continue the great power fuckery games but siding with slightly different people. Even the normalfag college lefties think that America has a moral obligation to do something about everything, they just want America to do it for the "right" governments. If you were honestly like "I don't think our nation should have a hand in these affairs at all, everyone hates us or will hate us for doing this" you were approached with extreme caution in discussions like you were some sort of weirdo. It's annoying.
