someone is taking the initiative at least, but it looks like they still use the same payment processors so the problem will inevitably continue unless it is solved at the source.

Not a big fan of that since the government tends to fuck things up more than it fixes them. But if it's the genuine option then so be it.
@beardalaxy I really want to restart that game distribution site project, but I have zero experience with crypto APIs.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club Honestly if if I were a game distribution platform and I was threatened by a payment processor I would just say "No" and if they did something then, I'd post the payment processor's email and contact numbers on the front page telling the users about the situation and to politely let their voices be heard. I'm pretty sure having any sizable number of people contacting them over it will probably make them back off.
Or maybe not. But I want to see some level of push back and we aren't getting it.
