@Ronnie21093 LIterally within the last three hours. Got photo confirmation that it was left at my door. Just saw the e-mail and went to get it and it was gone. I was even at home at the time. Would be nice if they at least knocked or rang the doorbell. :akko_angry:
@Ronnie21093 It was just a patch for a Mothership module, but it was limited edition. Regardless, I am beyond pissed.
@beardalaxy @LoliHat @Ronnie21093 I don't understand why the USA doesn't just embrace the "call the guy before shipping to know if they're at the address".
@Immahnoob @beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 The thing is that I was there. They didn't knock or ring the bell. Whoever did it probably was stalking the delivery van.
@LoliHat @beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 Our system is, you get called to see if you're at the address, the guy knocks at your door and gives you the package in hand.
@Immahnoob @beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 Problem is that most people aren't home during the day when people deliver packages.
@LoliHat @beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 But that's the point of the call, and you can put in your work address if you know you're not at home at the designated time (which we can pick as well for delivery, btw).
@Immahnoob @beardalaxy @Ronnie21093 That all varies depending on how much you pay for delivery and who is delivering; it's not always your choice what shipping company the sender uses.

@Immahnoob @LoliHat @Ronnie21093 Amazon drivers just leave it by your door and that's it. I always watch the delivery tracker like a hawk when it is getting close, and if I'm not going to be home I tell someone who is home to go grab it for me. Thankfully I've never had anyone steal my shit but I live in a good area.

I believe that, if your package is too big to fit in a mailbox, USPS will require someone to receive the package at the door. If nobody answers, they leave a slip and you can go pick it up at the post office. There is an option for re-delivery you can set up on their website, but it's a government website so that shit never works.

There are other shipping companies who will require signatures if the item is above a certain cost, I think UPS and FedEx both do this. You can specifically request a signature for some delivery services, and with some it can be opted out of (like DHL).
