@RedTechEngineer looks worse than either of them, nice try though. all you've done is increase the saturation. you can see macroblocking in the shadows. needs way more contrast, some bloom. the lens distortion on the film and the other imperfections add nicely to a scene like this.
@beardalaxy i know the iphone can do better than this though. looks like it was downsampled or re-compressed, or zoomed digitally
@meowski yeah i took it from a twitter post so it's definitely been compressed and stuff. the main difference here is not the raw fidelity of the image though, it's sovl. the film just looks so much more alive.
