There should be a non-verbal way thank people when you are too lazy to talk. I would go with the ASL gesture for "thank you", but it's a fucking blow kiss.

@xianc78 i don't know if anyone else does this, but me and my dad do. idk if i got it from somewhere and he picked it up from me or vice versa.
i put my hands together flat, as if i were praying, and then nod my head, kind of like in a bowing motion. usually i mouth "thank you" too. i tend to do it most often when my surroundings are loud, my mouth is full, or the person i'm saying thank you to is a little farther away so i don't have to yell.
@xianc78 yeah that doesn't seem great, I wouldn't think you're saying thanks with a wink.
@beardalaxy I thought of winking at people to thank them but most people don't get it.
