Hey, this instance has been pretty cool for my initial intro to mastodon. What other instances do yall like? even if they are big servers I don't care too much, just want an alt on mastodon since apparently this instance makes people look at you weird and plus the federated timeline kinda ass

@carlosruzu lot of people "on this side of fedi" end up using pleroma or misskey, @matrix 's server is the odd mastodon instance out

Most Mastodon instances are trash, because they run stock Mastodon and censor, however qoto.org is a great instance that does neither.
Btw federated tl is trash almost everywhere unless it's a small server with a big blocklist
