So the whole Avatar the Last Air Bender movie leaked or something?

@coded_artist It's a 7/10 movie. It's almost a universal consensus that everyone hates the voice acting and the movie could easily be an 8 out of 10 if they would have cast better voice actors.
The Creators thought it was a good idea to have the voice actors being betrayed by their actual ethnicities so you get some par voice actors.
@Mr_NutterButter According to someone I trust on the matter, besides the VA being poor, the plot is shit, but animation is fine, so most people will like it, but it will not be remembered, and the franchise has been further damaged by this.
It was called "The Force Awakens of the Avatar franchise."
Aang forgets he's an air bender 80% of the time, when he needs to get to, or drop down from, a high place.
The whole thing is a rehash of the Equalists plot of Avatar Korra, or something to that effect, using some artifact to grant people bending powers (which goes against original canon, and Korra canon as well).
I was told more, but I forgot already because I'm memory-holing this.
I'm very suspicious of your 7/10 assessment.

@coded_artist At the very least you'll be more informed on the movie so you get to roast people even if you don't like it.
@coded_artist it really is a 7 out of 10 because the animation is gorgeous but the voice acting is very flat and the plot is extremely basic but not overly offensive more just forgettable.
As for the weapon it's explanation is technically within lore because she gains the ability to bend energy from the original lion turtles who gave bending to the humans originally.
So it is very boring and lame to give give that ability to a weapon temporarily they can give bending to people just because, but it's not overly offensive because they get rid of that possibility by the end of the movie.
If you were the harshest you possibly could be on the movie I would say it would be a 6/10 if you were the most nitpicky about it and brutal on the writing and didn't care about how it looks whatsoever.
Personally I liked it so I gave it a 8/10 for me personally but I've seen almost everyone give a similar opinion of it being a 7 out of 10 movie.
