@Bernard @pepsi_man @WTFPurpleAlpaca He was providing security at a rally in support of Israel, run by a "far right" female Jew who also supports the overthrow of Iran for "women's rights" (Israel). I don't know his background but I suspect he was just misguided as opposed to not ethnically French. Here is the Jewish Defense League tribute demonstration:
