@chris Another mental flaw on display.
ALL CRIMINALS GET SEPARATED FROM THEIR CHILDREN.
And they're not undocumented.
They didn't forget their passport at home.
They are ILLEGAL, criminals that perpetrated a crime, and not one of passion but a pre-meditated crime.
And it is just that a criminal be punished.
@chris Different people have (defacto) different rights.
Women get lesser prison sentences than men, and children are given special consideration.
The elderly can be spared punishment, and so one and so forth.
And that's just the legal system.
Special considerations must be applied to homosexuals, for the same reason: they are different.
For example, married couples get tax deductions in most if not all western nations, since couples make children, and the state wants to incentivize this for obvious reasons.
Gays should not be given tax deductions for being married, because they don't produce children.
That's just one example though.
They should be barred from donating blood, and adopting children too, for pragmatic, and very sad, reasons.
@chris The liberal compels you to live by his standards, and sees no issue with this.
But with that I have no issue.
Before there is a sliver rule, there is the iron rule.
Those with the supreme authority, that being violence, dictate morality.
Its the hypocrisy that annoys me.
To quote Dio in his song: The man who would be king.
"We laugh at your religion
You people of the sand
We have no superstition
You can read it in our hands"
@chris Minimum wage has caused more poverty than it solved.
Another symptom of the sick world view of the average liberal.
"Just give them more money, that will solve it."
Money stands for something: value.
If an employee does not bring a minimum wage worth of value to a company's owner, he will be fired.
That's why unemployment increases when minimum wage is increased.
Some people are just not worth minimum wage.
@chris The idea that more money will just solve problems, whatever they may be, is a sign of spiritual sickness, and a myopic world view.
One must be willing to sacrifice for what they believe in, the liberal clearly does not understand this.
What if the sacrifice comes in the form of human life, and not money?
Blood, sweat, and tears, are more often the price.
@chris Yes, the belief you are owed someone else's money is the politics of envy,, the foundation of communism.
Desire to reform the tax system so the wealthiest don't exploit it as they do now is not envy, but justice.
A simple flat income tax, or no income tax at all, would go a long way in fixing disparities.
Also a halt on any and all immigration is in order, as that causes the stagnation of wages for the lower and middle classes.
@chris That's just a combination of too much immigration and government corruption.
@chris It cannot be a right, pragmatically that is simply impossible, a liberal day dream that is shattered on the shores of reality time and again.
Some people cannot be helped, others should not be helped.
Both groups WILL be denied, even if you write it into law, it matters not.
A right to an attorney can actually be enforced, as opposed to right to healthcare.
@chris Within reason.
The devil is in the detail.
What is "take care"?
Care for the sick and elderly like Canada does?
No thanks.
It's a dangerous statement to make, because of how easy it is to subvert.
Even if liberalism is not reject for this, its aesthetic must be.
Hearts can only bleed so much before they expire.
I draw, code, and make memes sometimes.
