The cops made a hole in the wall of the evidence room and were using a broom handle through the hole to open the door so they could eat the drugs. One of them overdosed and died on duty and triggered an investigation.

Also the main plotline stinks of moral relativism, the bread and butter of communists.

@ChristiJunior Yes, unfortunately.
Several hours in, and there's definitely moral relativism, and one feminist dialogue, a blue-haired freak NPC you can talk to, optional, but disgusting nonetheless.
It's starting to sour the experience, as mechanically the game is great, and the bosses are getting better.
But the "demon's aren't the bad guys" BS is getting to me.
Bunch of "freedom fighters" lead by a woman, of course, are the true good guys.
Reminds me of Time Spinner, a good game if you ignore all dialogue.
Not nearly as bad, but makes me worry for the Future of Lady Bug studio.
